Manage Mailing Lists

We will use the fictional mailing list "mylist@myname.com" as an example.

Subscribe/Unsubscribe members

If bob@hotmail.com wants to subscribe to your mailing list, he can simply send a blank email to "mylist-subscribe@myname.com" He will receive a confirmation email with more instructions on how to use the mailing list. To unsubscribe, he would send a blank email to "mylist-unsubscribe@myname.com"

The list owner or "moderator" could help Bob join by sending a blank email to "mylist-subscribe-bob=hotmail.com@myname.com"

Sending Emails to the List

Simply send your message to "mylist@myname.com". By default, only list owners can send email to the entire mailing list.
